


Alex Antunes
began training in the Martial Art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the age
of 23. He wasted no time receiving his blue belt in just under
eight months under Sensei Johnny Guerrero as well as becoming an
instructor in less than a year, and has now been given the Rank of
Purple Belt by Sensei Guerrero, Professor Marcos Santos, and The
legendary Professor John Machado.
Alex has
competed and medaled in such tournaments such as; The NY Open, The
NJ Open, The PA Open, USKBA Action Sports Championship, Naga and
many more.
Over his
short career, Alex has had the privilege of training with some of
the world's greatest fighters and instructors. Some of these
include; holder of various Black Belts Johnny Guerrero, UFC Champion
"The Prodigy" BJ Penn, Jiu-Jitsu and Judo Black Belt Jon Donahue,
2007 Pan American Silver Medalist Marcos Santos, World and Abu Dhabi
Champion Royler Gracie and "The Legend", 4 time World Brazilian
Jiu-Jitsu Champion Rigan Machado.
Alex is
currently training hard looking to achieve his Brown Belt in
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu while striving to become a better student and
instructor. He is also training in Mixed Martial Arts at
Guerrero Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy looking to achieve his goal of
becoming a well rounded fighter as well as professional instructor. |
