“Sensei Guerrero will be an excellent ambassador for the
martial art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and will be very
successful as its ambassador.”
Professor Rilion Gracie
Sensei Johnny Guerrero has dedicated over 24 years of
his life to Martial Arts. Sensei Guerrero is a renowned
Black Belt & Expert in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under
Professor Marcos Santos and World Famous Brazilian
Jiu-Jitsu Champion & Instructor Master Rigan Machado.
Sensei Guerrero is also one of few privileged
individuals to attain a 2nd Dan Black belt in
Ninjitsu under World Champion Grandmaster Eugene D.
Floyd.
Sensei
Guerrero’s humble beginnings in the world of martial
arts began at birth when he was given his last name
Guerrero which in Portuguese translates to Warrior or
War like Person. As a result, Sensei Guerrero had to
live up to his name and began training martial arts as a
need to survive. Sensei Guerrero was born & raised in
the city of Newark, NJ which was named by Money Magazine
“The
Most Dangerous City in the Nation”. This need to
survive is what fueled him on his quest to train and
find the most effective form of self defense. He would
soon find his answer in the form of a seminar at the
tender age of 17 with two of the Greatest Brazilian
Jiu-Jitsu Fighters of all time: World Champion Fighter
Professor Rickson Gracie & Professor Royler Gracie.
He was hooked from day one and his
thirst for more knowledge led him on his path to master
the art form known as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Guerrero continued his training from
White Belt to Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training
with World Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu/Abu Dhabi Champion
Professor Royler Gracie and Black Belt Instructor
Professor David Adiv where he became one of their top
representatives for many years.
Guerrero’s almost predestined fate
eventually led him to meet and train with the World
Famous Champions & Instructors of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
“The Machado Brothers” and their Official New York
Representative Professor Marcos Santos, whom he now
represents as their Official New Jersey Representative
for Master Rigan Machado. Sensei Guerrero attained his
Black Belt rank under Master Rigan Machado and Professor
Santos in 2005, but this would not stop his thirst for
more knowledge.
Guerrero continues training privately
with both new generation members of the Gracie Clan
Professors Ryron and Rener Gracie, who are Pan American
Jiu-Jitsu champions and International Gracie Jiu-Jitsu
Federation champions. These two brothers are one of few
who have received a diploma from Grandmaster Helio
Gracie, whom Sensei Guerrero has had the distinct honor
of training with.
As an Instructor, Guerrero has dedicated over 15 years

down in Sensei Guerrero’s quest for knowledge and of
